Just before midnight on January 10th Engine18 and Rescue18 were assigned on the first alarm to a residential structure fire. E30 arrived as the first due unit and found a doublewide mobile home 30% involved on the delta side. District3 was on scene as command and assigned E18 to deploy a hoseline to the Charlie division for extinguishment. Command received information that the home was vacant and a defensive attack was initiated. Once the bulk of the fire was knocked down crews went to work on the interior opening up and extinguishing hot spots.

Crews on scene where hampered with ice due to temperatures hovering in the teens.
